Hey, I’m Stan, and I’m obsessed with handheld gaming. My love affair began when I was introduced to Kirby’s Dream Land 2 on the original Game Boy DMG, that moment when gaming literally fit in my hands changed everything.
For reasons that still baffle me, my parents never allowed me to own a Game Boy and would actually punish me for borrowing one from friends. Eventually, I managed to get my hands on a PSP during my teens, followed by a PS Vita and Nintendo DS. But handheld gaming took a backseat when Sony abandoned the Vita, leaving me with nothing but empty hopes and a PS Plus subscription.
Then the Nintendo Switch arrived and reignited my dreams of quality portable gaming. Many years and many questionable financial decisions later, seriously, I’ve bought way too many handhelds, I decided to create this website.
I’m carving out my little corner of the internet to share thoughts, ramblings, and musings on all things handheld and gaming. If I can provide some value to fellow enthusiasts along the way, I’d call that a success.
